The renowned British author visited Malta on the occasion of World Book Day, which was celebrated on the 23rd April. Ms. Roberts is best known for her Seven Fabulous Wonders series published by HarperCollins. This series combines magic, myths and history taking young readers on a journey of fantastic discoveries.

Readers and followers of contemporary British authors were regaled with readings and signing of books by best-selling novelist Louis de Bernieres, who was in Malta last week to promote his latest title, Birds Without Wings.   De Bernieres is most famous for his novel Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, which was also adapted into a film.
