Dar tal-Providenza Donation

Miller Distributors Ltd started the New Year with a €7,000 donation made to Dar tal-Providenza.

Dar tal-Providenza offers a home with a warm and family-like environment for persons with disability, and currently houses 100 residents between the ages of 9 and 80 years. The home relies on the generosity of its benefactors and public donations to fund the very high level of care they provide.

 The amount donated represents €3,000 collected through employee wages, which was then doubled by the Directors, and was topped up by another €1,000 collected through the Company’s first charity event – a social gathering held on the 13^th December.

The cheque was presented by HR Manager Ray DeBono on behalf of all Miller employees at the Dar tal-Providenza Open Day on the 1^st January, 2011.

The company is intent on organising more charity events throughout the coming year.
